Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    On this Saturday morning at The Oasis, 15 PAX members woke up to get better. The PAX members attending the Beatdown were – Posh, Huckleberry, Mr. Brady, Romano, Extra Extra, Gap, Sipe, Mayor, Glitch, Gadget, Modell, Billy Bob, Cousteau, Houdini, and Beaker. Beaker was the Q.

    Here’s a summary of the Beatdown
    15 Side Straddle Hops, 2 minutes of stretching, 15 Burpees to warm-up. All were done in cadence.
    Mozied to Start for the next portion.
    Merkin Crawl – 5 merkins Bear Crawl 2 parking spaces, 5 merkins, bear crawl 2 parking spaces, repeato until you reach the end, about 80 yards away. The did the same Merkin Crawl back to the starting location.
    Crab Crawl – 5 Crab Kicks – 2 is 1, Crab Walk 2 parking spaces, 5 Crab Kicks, repeato until you reached the end. Then did the same back to the starting location.
    Mozied back to The Oasis.
    Station 1 – 15 diamond merkins, 15 Crunchy Frogs, 15 squats.
    Then played follow the leader and jogged around Close Park to the next station.
    Station 2 – 15 manmakers, 15 dips, 15 kick-outs.
    Then played follow the leader and jogged around Close Park to the next station.
    Station 3 – 15 mountain climbers, 15 klinger kicks (either 2 is 1 or 4 is 1, your choice), 15 hand-release merkins
    Then follow the leader to the next station.
    Station 4 – 15 peter parkers, 15 horsey ups, 15 LBC’s.
    Then another round of follow the leader to the next station.
    Station 5 – everyone circled up and the Q asked members to pick their favorite exercise and lead us through 15 of them. This is what I can remember that we did – 15 Imperial Walkers, 15 butterflies, 15 ball busters, 15 X-squats, 15 stump huggers, 15 diamond merkins, 15 LBC,s, 15 Big Boy sit-ups.

    Great to see so many out at The Oasis this morning.
