Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.

Good time with Bad Music – February 3, 2020

This was a continuation of beatdown at Stone Wolfe from a few weeks ago. The idea for today was to create a full body beatdown, making it difficult, while playing 9 of the worst songs of the last 30 years.

The Thang: 3 Exercises per round, 12 reps per exercise. 150 yard run after 2 sets of each of the three moves are completed, then start over with the three moves and repeat until the song is over.

Round 1 – Man Makers with Block, Big Boy Sit Ups, Buster Poseys to Friday I’m in Love by the Cure
Round 2 – Curls with Block, Single Leg Toe Touch (raised), Jumping Alternate Lunges to Everybody Hurts by R.E.M.
Round 3 – Walking Merkins, V-Ups, Block Thrusters to Larger than Life by Backstreet Boys
Round 4 – Burpees, Block Leg Lifts, and Jump Squats to Photograph by Nickleback
Round 5 – Skull Crushers, American Hammers (2=1), Lunges to What’s Up by Four Non-Blondes
Round 6 – Diamond Merkins, Flutter Kicks, Goblet Squat with Block to How Can We be Lovers by Michael Bolton
Round 7 – Block Swings, Mountain Climbers, Side Lunges to Say Something by A Great Big World
Round 8 – Hand Release Merkins, Plank Knee to Elbow, Standing Jump Tucks to Tubthumping by Chumbawamba
Round 9 – Overhead Press, High Toe Touch, Block Lunges to Livin La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin

    Count O Rama: 21

Name O Rama: Mr. Belding, Hedgehog, Colonel, Klinger, Tucky, Bullock, Rubble, Yosemite, Dr. Nick, Minnie, Ollie, Dirty, Mickey, Tidwell, Trinity, Biggie, Mayor, Cogsworth, Smails, one FNG (Irish Spring) and Mole as Q.

COT: Trinity was the 6. We named our FNG Irish Spring, due to his time spent as a corrections officer. No announcements. We said a prayer and got out.

It is always an honor to lead. Thanks to the 21 men who came out and fought through a tough beatdown and the awful music.

    Check. Mole
