One part Fitness, one part Intellectual, mix in some Fellowship and you have a calorie burn for the body that fuels the soul. Throw in some weight in a ruck sack, head off on a 3-4 mile hike while your mind is led through Q source material straight from the creators of F3.

    Mercy led a coupon free ruck with a stated goal of a 15 minute pace. The rain had other plans. It rained consistently as we rucked from the Fortress down to the Wall, up the steps, back and up through downtown Perrysburg, and back to the start point. Added the smaller loop in Woodlands park for good measure as we did 3 miles at a 16:52 pace.

    On the ruck, we discussed Shorties. It was a good conversation about what we have been calling 2.0s for many moons. Apparently the language has changed, and 2.0s are no more. They are shorties. We discussed the verse Ephesians 6:4, where fathers are told to not provoke their children to anger. Some versions use the word “exasperate.”

    Worms were out on the sidewalks in droves as the ground was very saturated, as we had a nice stroll and productive conversation.
