Boot camp style workout. On the River. Amazing way to watch the sun come up and start the day with sweat pouring over your rejuvenated soul. Some ramps, lots of steps, a little concrete, a little grass, all the fixens for beautifully scripted beatdown!

You have to park at Hood Park, Downtown Perrysburg, or one of the side streets (i.e. Cherry, Walnut, or Second Street).

No FNG’s so right into F3 Mission and Core Principles:
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission –Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    • Be free of charge
    • Be open to all men
    • Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
    • Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
    • End with a Circle of Trust

Warm up with Side Straddle Hops and Windmills while we wait for a few PAX to make their way down the ramp as the steps are closed for safety reasons.

Count o Rama, 19, then counted off by 10 to establish our partners. With having an odd number, TuPac joined YHC and Woodstock so that he did not have to be by himself.

The “Thang”: Ten stations at each of the newly installed stone benches. 90 seconds exercise then rotate during 15 second rest.

Station #1 – Bulgarian Split Squats
    Station #2 – Dips
Station #3 – Hanging Leg Reverse Crunches
Station #4 – Hand Elevated Mountain Climbers
    Station #5 – One Leg Sit-To-Stand
Station #6 – Bench Tap Merkins
    Station #7 – Glute Bridge
    Station #8 – Step Ups
Station #9 – Single Arm or Double Arm Plyo Merkin
    Station #10 – Inch Worm

    Ended with:
    Count-O-Rama – Nineteen!!!
    Name-O-Rama

Sharing of the six – Hedgehog. Continues to come out like many of us do for the fellowship. Had a regular workout routine before F3 but the fellowship and especially the Faith component are what keeps him coming back out. Hesitant to start Bible Study at first. Was embarrassed by his lack of biblical knowledge but it has been a game changer since he started attending. AYE! Got his name from the little fury animal, or maybe an adult film star. You decide.

Announcements – From Dutch: Be punctual by taking into account that the stairs are now closed, and the ramp must be used to get down to the bottom of The Wall.

Ball of Man – Prayers for the great morning and the ability we all have to rise, exercise and make each other better. Prayers for Houdini as his wife battles cancer. Prayers for Landslide and his wife’s recovery from a skiing accident. Prayers for our elected officials and that they come to a compromise regarding the current government shutdown. And special prayers to those government workers who continue to protect our freedoms and keep us safe while not being paid.

Spreadsheets from the Gloom: 25 degrees and calm, little to no wind. Honored to lead this group of HIM’s! While this workout had its strenuous stations, some could have been more difficult and that is on YHC. But for those that attended yesterday’s Montoya led Iron Pax Week 2 redux, today was a welcome break!!!
