Bootcamp Style Beatdown enjoying everything nature has to offer. This site offers a Playground for pull-ups, a large field full of …you guessed it…ant hills, and secret access into one of our best MetroParks.

Road Less Traveled (The name Road Less Traveled came from using an area of Ant Hill AO that we don’t typically work out in.)

This was a throwback workout to a previous beatdown run by YHC before we started posting backblasts. Also, was curious how it stood up over time to see if it was still as challenging as it was nearly 18 months or longer ago.

    Warm-Up
    SSH IC x 25
    Windmills IC x 20
Quick run around outfield of baseball diamonds over to back corner of school with posts in in 1/2 circle.
Ran ~50yards and back x 2 / back pedal and then bear crawl 1/2 way and reverse bear crawl remaining distance. (repeato)

    The Thang
    5 Rounds:
    -15 Decline Merkins off Post
    -15 Post grab leg lifts
    -15 Incline Merkins on post
    -Run down and back x2

Those that finished early tried to get to 100 reps of all exercises, i believe Mole, Rubble, and Hedgehog achieved this, T-claps men!

We finished with a hybrid Lt. Dan Jack Webbs
Post toe touches 2×1 instead of lunges and to 1 squat. 4-1, 8-2, 12-3,16-4 etc. up to 10.

We mosey’d back to the flag and we proceeded with COR, NOR, with Sipe being the 6 for the second time in less than 12 hours! (Nice work Sipe, no complaining and treating it with respect!)

The prayer intentions and announcements were cut short with the thunderstorms quickly moving in.

Thanks men for the opportunity to lead, aye!
