Where it all started! Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at local restaurant (changes periodically, they will announce location typically in the COT after the beatdown). Great opportunity to get to know members of F3 Toledo and refuel from the workout.

  1. Pinewood
    Pinewood says:

    COMPLAIN

    PAX: Trinity, Mayor, Chum, Sideshow, Hamm, Jake the Snake, Gadget, Goose, Tupac, Pinewood
    6 = Tupac
    Q = Pinewood

    At 7am the PAX circled up for the 5 core principals and quick apology due to a bit of rain which will cause us to get a bit wet. Moved right into warmups consisting of SSH and windmills. Then we got to it.

    THE THING
    Playlist consisting of 10 songs. Each song had 1 or 2 exercises associated to it which PAX did for the entire song in classic AMRAP style.
    1. FLOWER by Moby – Better known as “Sally” – Merkins up and down as the lyrics state.
    2. GIN & JUICE by Snoop – BBSU / Crunchy Frogs (rotate as necessary)
    3. JUMP by Kris Kross – Squats / Lt. Dans (rotate every 10 reps)
    4. HEADSTRONG by Trapt – OHP / Carolina Dry Docks (rotate 10-15 reps)
    5. BABY SHARK – Karaoke down the parking lot and back.
    6. PUSH IT by Salt N Pepa – Block Press
    7. FEEL INVINCIBLE by Skillet – Klinger Kicks / Leg Raises (rotate every 20 reps)
    8. BABY GOT BACK by Sir Mix Alot – Bob Hurley / Lunges (rotate every 10 reps)
    9. TUSH by ZZ Top – Monkey Humpers / Pickle Pounders (rotate every 25 reps)
    10. TUBTHUMPING by Chumbawamba – Burpee every time song says “get knocked down”

    It was great until song 5 and 6 had screwed up audio (Note to self – check playlist next time). We still Karaoke’d halfway down the parking lot and back and then added a mosey the full length – I mean who really wanted to listen to Baby Shark this early in the morning? The Salt ‘N Pepa classic was sadly not played but the Block Presses were done at the end. Did 50 presses each and then circled up upon Trinity and Mayor hinting they were done.

    Count-a-rama and Name-a-rama happened.

    Tupac came in as the 6 expressing how he really isn’t a fan of working out but does enjoy the friendships he’s made and the free labor/ moving help that comes from it. Closed with 2F announcement and with no prayer intentions prayer was said and coffee was had.
