Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

    The Thang:

A cool, drizzly morning made this beatdown even more amazing! The pax started with an Indian Run to and around the track and then moseyed to the far western side of the parking lot where we slalom-ran the orange markers lining the driveway. Every 5-10 markers we dropped and did 5 burpees. (A total of ~50 burpees achieved at that point in the beatdown.
We then moseyed to the main entrance to the school and performed 25 each of the following: step-ups on bench, dirty hookups, and incline merkins. Plank or Al Gore was held until the Six finished his reps.
Mosey to the north side of the school where we “wall walked” 15 meters (feet on wall, hands on the wet concrete and “walk” on hands from point to point.
Moved on to a Merkin circle for a “100” count followed by a Freddie Mercury Circle” also for a 100 count.
Moseyed to the east side of the school near the construction trades entrance where pax performed the following :
-picnic table over and backs with BBSU’s on each side of table. Started at one rep and built up to ten.
    -fire hydrants 20 per leg.
-double leg hop over landscape timbers. 50 each
We moseyed back to the flag and finished with burpee suicides up to 5 reps.

A pleasure and an honor to lead my first “DR” beatdown. After 400 posts, I finally Q’ed DR. I appreciate the warm reception and hospitality each time I visit F3 Toledo.
