Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the stadium and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at the Red Star Diner on Lewis.

    5 core principles
    Always free
    Always outside
    Open to all men
Led by members of the group in a rotating fashion
Always ends in a circle of trust

Mission: to plant grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership

Credo: leave no man behind, but leave no man where you find him

We started with a warmup consisting of Side straddle hops, Abe Vigodas, Chain breakers, and tempo merkins

We then did a card game workout where we took turns picking a card. Each card represented 2 exercises. The suit had an exercise, and the number had another exercise. The one who chooses the card can do each exercise in cadence or have everyone do them on their own. After everyone finished drawing, we sprinted to the opposite end zone (100 yards) and back. The exercises attached to each suit/number were:

    (10 reps)
    Club – Squat
    Spade – Lunge
    Diamond – Twinkle toes
    Heart – Burpee

    (15 reps)
    A – hand release merkins
    2 – Diamond merkins
    3 – Carolina dry docks
    4 – Mike tysons
    5 – big boys
    6 – LBC’s
    7 – gas pumps
    8 – Freddy mercuries
    9 – Supermans
    10 – swimmers
    J – bridges
    Q – Superman pull backs
    K – burpee

    Ended with COR, NOR, COT

    6: Spokes

    Always a pleasure to lead
