What the ruck is a ruck? A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

No FNG’s, so right into *ission and Principles.
F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
*ission –Plant, grow and serve s*all *en’s workout groups for the invigoration of *ale co**unity leadership.
The core principals of F3 are that it *ust:
• Be free of charge
• Be open to all *en
• Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
• Be led by *en who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. *odify or stop an exercise if you need to. The *ost important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
• End with a Circle of Trust
The “Thang”: Rucked up Fort *eigs Road, right on Eckel Jct., circled back at Hunter’s Run, back down Fort *eigs Road, left on Fox Run, circled back at Hawksberry, left on Fort *eigs Road to Endex.
Total ruck distance: Just under 3 *iles.
We ended in a Circle of Trust with Count-O-Ra*a, Na*e-O-Ra*a, The Six, Announce*ents and a Ball of *an with prayer. Raven was the six. EH’d by Tots. Originally thought rucking was crazy and weird. Why are guys doing it? Then understood the fellowship aspect. Loves F3 because it is Iron Sharpening Iron. Got his na*e because he’s a Pittsburgh native and Steelers fan. Prayers for Bourbon’s son, Ba*bi’s father-in-law, those traveling this week and that everyone gives thanks.
