Boot camp style workout. At Woodland Park. Two large Playgrounds, Frisbee Golf Course, 1 Mile Dirt Track, HUGE Field.  Plenty of space here to craft a diabolical smokefest for even the strongest PAX.

Entrance is off East Boundary. Kip Boulis Drive.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Lamplight Cafe and Bakery located at 121 W. Indiana ave. Great opportunity to get to know members of F3Toledo and refuel from the workout.

PAX: 15 total – Huffy, Flo, Ponzi, Hazmat, Landslids, Woodstock, Moana, Bourbon, Axel, Tupac, Jennay, Coal, Spaulding, Buttermaker, Bambi.

    • It must be peer led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary
    • It must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)

    Bring a Towel:

We started off with a run to hood park, approximately 1.2 miles. Bourbon was assigned to the 6 and Woodstock was assigned to the 12.

Along the was there were 2 stops to wait for the 6. Each stop included an AMRAP Merkin variation:
1-merkin AMRAP at corner of east boundary and front
2-incline or decline merkins on the front steps of st. Rose Parrish

Then it was a race (you against me and everyone else) from st. Rose to the public docs at hood park. The PAX then lined up in order of first to last. Then partnered up first and last, 2nd and second from last, etc. On the docks 100 pull ups and 100 merkins were owed. Pull ups were in the water….these were all partner clap. Once completed all groups were instructed to help the 6…your numbers helping count toward theirs. I also want to add that the majority of the PAX had removed several clothing options…shoes, socks, shirts, etc. (I think everyone kept on their pants). These topless dudes clapping together on the docks attracted an audience. Folks were parking by the docs and taking in the sights. (if you read the pre-run BB…you might be surprised to know that the lady in her 30’s was not there stalking Tupac.).

After all pull ups and sit ups were completed the PAX sat around like old men getting dressed and dry heaving from the sickness about to set in from the River expedition.

From there we had 1.2 miles to cover to make it back to The Fortress and we needed to eat the lightning which was seen in the distance when at the docks. The first leg was a run to the library and in the parking lot AMRAP Carolina Dry Docks were performed while waiting for the 6. The next stop was Zoar Lutheran Church where AMRAP Hand Release Merkins were the exercise of choice while waiting for the 6. Once the 6 ran past the AMRAP Hand Release Merkin group rolled in close behind and the PAX ran back to Woodlands Park as a group.

Ended in a COT with Count-o-Rama and Name-o-Rama.

Landslide was the 6: EH’d by Stark and Cobra, both whom are family or basically family and talked him into it because he was doing Spartan races. Landslide attended the first Perrysburg beatdown in July of 2018. Landslide keeps coming back for the PAX and to hang out with everyone while working out.

Bambi Led the Prayer: Prayers were specifically offered for Cooter and his family, friends, family and others working through health problems and for those with success on the health front, for the health of the PAX after getting in the Maumee and for the lightning holding off which was first noticed 1.2 miles from the endex.
