Boot camp style workout. At Woodland Park. Two large Playgrounds, Frisbee Golf Course, 1 Mile Dirt Track, HUGE Field.  Plenty of space here to craft a diabolical smokefest for even the strongest PAX.

Entrance is off East Boundary. Kip Boulis Drive.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Lamplight Cafe and Bakery located at 121 W. Indiana ave. Great opportunity to get to know members of F3Toledo and refuel from the workout.

    No way to post a back blast (that I could tell) for a Sunday so I will leave it here since Woodstock is taking his sweet, sweet time and there is room to do so.

    F3 Fat Tire – Bike Ride – Sunday 7/8/18

    The Thang – We were short for time and during equipment prep we had one casualty (Raven some how lost both tires to deflation and couldn’t participate) we had to modify format as needed.

    PAX – Tots, Raven (Flat Tire Casualty), Bourbon, Bambi, Hazmat, Backdraft, Jennay, Bandit (FNG) – EH’d by Hazmat

    Original meet up at parking lot was changed due to park being closed. Special thanks to Bambi for coordinating relay point across from Riverside cemetery and directing traffic that way.

    During gear check and prep, Raven’s front tire burst and while we were fixing it with group’s only extra tube, we realized the valve off the back tire had also broken and neither would hold air. *Note for future rides, bring extra equipment and check your gear the night before. (2 is one and 1 is none). We decided that instead of leaving the tube in the tire, we would keep it with the group in case we ran into another flat scenario. Raven was forced to head back home (or to the store for new equipment for next week).

    Due to the delay, we took off about 15 minutes later than expected and wanted to get started as a couple PAX had to leave early and we wanted to make it worth their while. We road straight down route 65 before coming to a halt due to some road construction near Stitt Road. We turned and waited for the 6 before turning back the same way. When we got back to side cut parks area, we turned back for a visit to see the Fallen Timbers Monument. From here, the PAX that had to leave early split off and headed back. Those that had some time to spare decided to follow the trails further until we had to turn back to end by 7:30 AM.

    When we arrived back at the starting point, Bambi explained the mission and principals to FNG and Jennay lead COR – Bambi was 6.

    FNG was given the name “Bandit” and Jennay lead the group in COT.

    Announcements – All agreed they would see what they could do to commit to a regular ride on Sunday.

    On an absolutely perfect Saturday morning, we had 13 PAX, 3 FNGs – Stark, Jennay, Tupac, Hazmat, Bourbon, Crab legs, Ponzi, Casper, virus, fng Skeletor, fng Googly, fng Backdraft, Woodstock (q) come out for a glorious time with thoughts of ALL the FNGs that would be stressing to Get Right thanks to the efforts at the first Friday perrysburg events the night before. While no records were set, 3 FNGs is very respectable and all 3 put in work.

    The thanks:
    3 Flags (2 old glory, 1 f3) were placed approx 50yds from betty. PAX Circled up around Betty for mission, principles, disclaimer.

    Bear crawl 1-2-3
    Partner 1 bear crawls to flag of their choosing while partner 2 does rx’ed exercise.

    Partner 1 does 5 burpees at flag then crawl bear back to Betty.

    Partner 2 then bear crawls to flag while partner 1 does rx’ed exercise.

    Partner 2 does 5 burpees at flag then crawl bear back to Betty

    Repeat until 100 Merkins, 200 lbcs, 300 squats are completed as a team.
