Boot camp style workout. At Woodland Park. Two large Playgrounds, Frisbee Golf Course, 1 Mile Dirt Track, HUGE Field.  Plenty of space here to craft a diabolical smokefest for even the strongest PAX.

Entrance is off East Boundary. Kip Boulis Drive.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Lamplight Cafe and Bakery located at 121 W. Indiana ave. Great opportunity to get to know members of F3Toledo and refuel from the workout.

    F3 Mission: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith; to plant, serve and grow men’s small workout groups, in order to reinvigorate male community leadership

    Principles of F3:
    • It must be free of charge
    • It must be open to all men
    • It must be help outdoor, rain or shine, hot or cold
    • It must be peer led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary
    • It must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)

    10 PAX showed up for the pre-Ducky run/ruck.
    5 men chose to ruck. Bambi led Buttermaker, Thumper, Oops, and Huffy on a brisk 2.5 mile ruck with 2 pieces of Charlotte as coupons.
    The 5 other men went for a run. Dutch, Montoya and Tupac ran from The Fortress to the Wall putting in about 3.5 miles. Woodstock and Q*Bert added in a lap around Orleans park for about 4.3 miles.

    Ended in a COT

    16 PAX showed up ready to find out what “That’s Just Ducky” was going to be.
    We counted off in groups of 4.
    4 stations were set up in a square with the “pond” in the middle.
    The “pond” was full of fun exercises like burpees, merkins, Carolina dry docks, starfish sit ups, squats and more.
    The work:
    Each team Duck walks from your station to the “pond” – draw an exercise card
    – duck walk back to your station and perform exercise on card (example 20 burpees card – 20 burpees per teammate (20×4=80) need completed as a team)
    Duck walk from your station to the “pond” draw a second exercise card
    – duck walk back to your station and perform exercise, plus half the Rx reps of card 1 (example: 30 big boy sit ups + 10 burpees)
    Duck walk from your station to the “pond” draw a third exercise card
    – duck walk back to your station and perform exercise, plus half the Rx reps of card 1 and card 2 (example: 30 Merkins +15 big boy sit ups + 10 burpees)
    Duck walk from your station to the “pond” draw a fourth exercise card
    – duck walk back to your station and perform exercise, plus half the Rx reps of card 1, 2, and 3 (example: 40 squats + 15 Merkins +15 big boy sit ups + 10 burpees)
    Run 1 lap around the large loop ~0.9miles

    !!REPEATO!!

    All 4 stations completed 2 full rounds of “That’s Just Ducky”, with 2 teams being able to start a third round.

    Ended in a COT with Count-o-Rama and Name-o-Rama.

    F3: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith

    Mission: To plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

    Principles of F3 Workouts: Are free of charge, Are open to all men, Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold, Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary, End with a Circle of Trust

    The Thang: Bambi, Moana, Huffy & Ups covered approximately 16 miles, biking to Waterville and back. Geppetto and venom put in 45 minutes of a bootcamp at the wall and all 7 convened at the Hood Park Docks for the Wall. Venom headed home and Dutch arrived with his Kayak to play safety guide. Bambi, Huffy, Ups, Geppetto and Moana swam to Audobon Island and back. Much fun was had by all.
