The Thang:
20 PAX stepped off promptly at 5:15 for a ruck through Sylvania. Making our way through Harroun Park and then north to Monroe Street, we ventured outside of the normal confines up to W. Alexis Road for a loop through Rite Aid and back up Monroe Street. At about the 1/2 way point we made a brief stop to bring the group back together and dropped for 10 ruck burpees. YHC definitely missed his waist belt, as the 30 LB plate jarred his melon.
After a 3 mile ruck, we returned to Harroun Park with some time for a little ruck PT. The PAX was strong through 51 Air Squats with rucks, followed by 20 ruck merkins.
The count-o-rama thankfully confirmed that we returned with 20 PAX, just as we started with. Hopefully the same 20.
After the name-o-rama, Stamper did a great job as the ‘six’ sharing how although he has not been able to post as often as he would like, on the days he does, F3 really rejuvenates the morning and gets the day going.
Prayers were requested for Michigan students who are taking SAT’s this week, and for students to make good decisions as they head to prom this weekend.
Moleskin:
Shout out to Klinger, who made sure that we lived by the credo of “Leave no man behind, but leave no man where we found him” as he stayed with the 6 the entire ruck. Props to the 6, who dropped in only a few weeks ago and is nearly at the pace of the rest of the PAX who’ve been rucking for 10 months.
Reminder to everyone, only a few weeks until GrowRuck 009. get your gear and your mind right! Also, HC for the last few spots remaining!!!
If you know of any PAX that are not doing the GR, get them to HC for the 2nd F! We need to get numbers to the venues this week!
