11 brave souls ventured forth into the wilds of Sylvania this morning for a trek that would challenge both their bodies and nerves. The hardy adventures included: Stamper, Mayor, Froman, Gadget, Elaina, Splinter, Trinity, Bagels, Norwood, Beaker, & Cousteau.
The intrepid band set out from their base, the apostolic grounds of the saint named Joseph. They trekked past the home of those brave souls who protect us & our homes from the inferno of combustion. After successfully navigating to hustle & bustle of the lane that is Erie the companions braved a move through the realm of the tempestuous felines that live at one of the City of Tree’s centers of learning. Upon escaping from the realm of ferocious felines, the group trudged through an area filled with the dwellings of many from the town. They successfully navigated this treacherous path without waking the slumbering denizens. This brought them to the citadel of the Grey Wolves. The group was forced to once again speed up in order to escape from the lain of the canis lupus. This lead them to their final & most arduous challenge. They entered the dark woods were they were set upon be hundreds of blood-thirsty winged creatures. However, true to their F3 brotherhood they would not be stopped. They concluded their journey with a mad dash up the final knoll pursued by the vivacious winged creatures.
Despite a continued bombardment by their winged foes, the group paused at the end of their trek to remember & pray for those who protect us both active & fallen. They prayed for the youth as they finish their learning for the summer. It was at this time that Elaina also reminded us all that God provides us with what we need, we simply need to be open to it & be willing to take the opportunities.
Thank you to all the men that joined me this morning for this noble trek.
