Heart Rate Trail
Q: Ticket
PAX: Mayor, Wild Sprayer, Ollie, Pinewood, Cogsworth, Hedgehog, Pig Pen, Sipe, Mulchahy, Bob Ross (FNG), Brita, Ticket
Warm and muggy at the start. But, that wasn’t going to stop these 12 men from putting in some miles.
YHC ran through the F3 mission, 5 core principles, and credo. The route had some tricky parts to it, so YHC ran through it with the PAX. We had an FNG, and didn’t want him to get lost in the woods.
We counted off to make sure we ended with the same number we started with. And with that, we stepped off toward the woods behind the school. During the run, the group splintered a little.
The route consisted of:
Red loop to main Red Trail
Purple Trail to Blue Trail and turn right on Blue Trail to get back to main Red Trail
Red Trail to Stables and turn left just before the Stables to get back on Blue Trail
Cross the little bridge on Blue trail and stay on the dirt path along the parking lot / road
Left toward Manor house at main parking lot and quick right to get back on Blue Trail toward the prairie
Follow Blue Trail past the stairs to Manor House
Stay on Blue Trail until the Purple Trail
Right on Purple Trail to main Red Trail
Main Red Trail back to the start
PAX got in 4 to 4.5 miles and nobody got lost.
Ended in COT. Count-o-Rama, Name-o-rama, Hedgehog was the 6, named our FNG – Bob Ross, announcements, and prayer intentions.
