Bedford, boot camp

Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the stadium and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at the Red Star Diner on Lewis.

    No speaker and no music because today we heard from each other. Took turns picking an exercise and while Pax did exercise, the person that picked the exercise shares with the group what’s on their mind. What fires them up, what they’ve been troubled with lately, what’s on their mind, really anything. Just an opportunity to practice speaking in front of group, vulnerability, and active listening.

    A.L.A.R.M. style workout with different exercises focusing on Arms, Legs, Abs, Run, and Merkin. Instead of certain number of reps or AMRAP, Pax did exercise selected by the rotting leader while the leader shared from their heart.

    A – Air Press
    L – Squat
    A – Big Boys
    R – Lap around the track
    M – Regular Merkin

    A – Curls
    L – Lunges
    A – American Hammers
    R – Lap
    M – Chuck Norris Merkins (on knuckles)

    A – Arm Swings
    L – Calf Raises
    A – Imperial Walkers
    R – Lap
    M – Diamond Merkins
