    Tyson "Hacksaw" Stoll says:

    Date: 18 July 2018

Weather: 85 degrees, 65% humidity, slight breeze = HOT!!!

    QIC: Hacksaw

PAX: Tupac, Pixar, Goose, LaVar, Gadget, Sideshow, H2, Brockovich, Brita, Mickey, Drago, Froman, Billy Bob, Bluto, Wake, Sipe, Ozzie

Shout out to Hedgehog who had to serve us by working his job as a fire fighter but still was more than willing to donate his awesome Blue tooth speaker.

    The Thang:

Warmup: 20 4 count side stratle hops in cadence

It was explained that this day was Hacksaw’s 100th post in the AM so that number would be significant. The plan was the following…

10 Rounds: 100m sprints Rx and 50m bear crawl. Scaled Run 50m also.
Corner 1: Rx: 10 clamping Merkins Scaled: Regular Merkin/Merkin from knee
    Corner 2: 10 burpees
    Corner 3: Rx: 10 V-ups Scaled: Big Boy Situp/LBC’s
Corner 4: Rx: 10 Jumping Lieutenant Dan Scaled: Lieutenant Dan

If the PAX were spry, additional plan was the following…

    2. SUSAN: 5 Rounds of 200m run, 10 air squats, 10 Merkins

    3. 3 Rounds: 50 situps + 400m run

However, the Q does poor job of estimating time. He wanted to play ultimate Frisbee with the last 15 minutes of time to see which PAX has it in the end as Mr. Shredder explained in GrowRuck school.

Two rounds in, I looked at Mickey and said, “Oh boy! What did I do?” as the work to get around the soccer field was significant. Five rounds in took 20 minutes to accomplish. I looked to Mickey and said one more round as the sweat was running down my face. The PAX were all being taxed at this point and some of the PAX started asking, “One more round? I am only on round 5?” Taking liberties of being the Q, I relieved the PAX of 10 rounds and stopped at 6 to hear heavy breathing, but a sense of relief that the pain was over, or was it?

I went on to explain the we are now playing ultimate Frisbee to test Shredders expectations. Teams were broken up with January to June birthdays on one side and July to December birthdays on the other. Just so happens that the PAX’s mothers and fathers got more busy in the spring time as the fall and winter birthdays outnumbered the early months 10-8. The Q was selected to switch teams and the Q took another liberty again by saying that we would be skins so the heat could escape our bodies better. However, to no avail. The fall birthdays also showed their strength winning 4 to 2 with Goose showing his Ultimate prowess. H2 also flashed here and there and a good time was had by all.

We circled up and finished with a COT. Countorama, Name-o-rama, and BOM ensued. Despite the heat, the PAX pushed hard and completed the 4 corners of fun with enthusiasm and everyone had a good time.

Radio was delivered back to Hedgehog and the Q felt humbled to lead such an amazing group of men!

Always an honor to Q and serve,

    Aye
