One part Fitness, one part Intellectual, mix in some Fellowship and you have a calorie burn for the body that fuels the soul. Throw in some weight in a ruck sack, head off on a 3-4 mile hike while your mind is led through Q source material straight from the creators of F3.

    Saturday – Q Ruck – The Fortress
    Competence, Continents, and Continence
PAX – Jennay (Q), Huffy, Tupac, Casper, Stark, Jackknife, Hazmat, Flo, Red Rider
Opening – Started off with core principals, mission statement and COR. Then made our way out to begin the Ruck. Jennay explained the topic points of Mutual Competence that would be discussed and the related activity. No route was pre-determined. The Pax’s goal was simply to get the group back to the starting point in the allotted time. Any time the pax changed course as determined by the flag holder, the flag would be passed to another member who would then be the one to determine the next course change.

    – During the Ruck, there were several questions posed and discussed as it relates to Mutual Competence. Those questions are…
o Is Competence important to Group Success?
o Does every member of a team have to be equally competent?
o How competent must the leader be?
o What are some things that are detrimental to mutual competence?
o How does a leader remain competent in task-oriented items as more and more responsibilities are required of him?
o Is it ever important to give up a leadership role for the benefit of the group?
Ended with COA, NOA, the 6 (Huffy), Announcements and closed w/ COT.
