PAX: 11 total – Slushie, DJ Worm, Poodle, FNG – ER, Mr. Brady, Bullock, Glitch, Gap, Socrates, Romano, Modell.
On this cool summer morning, the PAX circled up for stretching, with each man dressed in gear representing his high or college alma mater, favorite team, or random shirt found in the bottom of his clothes basket. YHC began to explain how the morning’s workout would play out and how each team would compete against the other.
The PAX organized themselves in 4 teams of 3 men. They prepared for 4 rounds of competition, with the winner taking home the gold – or at least that’s what they thought. Team 4 of So-crates and Slushie was at a slight disadvantage, in that they were the only team of 2 men. To make up for this, they were given fewer reps of the exercises that were completed in each round.
Tha Thang:
Lap 1 – lap around the front of Scott HS and back to the parking lot.
Round 1 – Each man on the team took a turn carrying a cinderblock 25 yards and back, while the rest of his team performed Merkins. The first team that completed 250 Merkins with each man doing a cinderblock run was named the winner. Team 3 – Gap, DJ Worm, and Modell were the victors.
Round 2 – Cinderblock run + 300 American Hammers. Winner – Team 3
Lap 2 – lap around the front of Scott HS and back to the parking lot
Round 3 – Cinderblock run + 350 Air Squats. Winner – Team 2
Round 4 – Cinderblock run + 25 Burpees. Winner – Team 3.
As mid-round breaks, the PAX took time to perform multiple reps of Ab-solutions! A favorite of YHC.
The scrimmage ended with Team 3 as the winner. Nuf said! But shout out to all the PAX who pushed themselves and became better men on this morning!
