   Da Q: Hustle

   Da Pax: Cousteau, Nails, Gap, Ollie, H2, Ticket, Hedgehog, Sipe, Mayor, Splinter, Tupac, and Hustle

   In honor of my 365th day since my first beatdown, this beatdown was inspired by the numbers 3, 6, and 5. When added up together, it equals 14. The pax was instructed to bring a rucksack or other heavy object.

   Da Thang: after verbalizing the 5 core principles, we all moseyed our way to the track with our rucksack, cinder block, etc. The warm-up started out as doing 14 total burpees, and after each one, doing 14 total ‘towel’ hops (which we did over the track lines).
   We then split up into 4 groups of 3. There were 4 ‘stations’ around the track. At the mid-way point, or 50 yard line along the track, the pax did 14 big-boy sit-ups, followed by 3 burpees, 6 air squats, and 5 merkins. The other 2 stations, at each end, were goalpost side.
   One of these was the same 3,6,5 of burpees, air squats, and merkins, respectively. And at the other end, each had to do 14 ‘sack swings’ using their rucksack or whatever was brought. This continued until each group reached 14 stations total around the track.
   We circled up, and did ‘static hold’ flutter kicks holding our rucksacks out in front. I started out with a single flutter, followed the next guy who did 1, etc., until it reached me, then 2, and all the way around until each guy did 6 apiece (the mumble chatter suggested that these are a favorite). We lastly put on on our trusty rucksacks, and did the same thing around, performing 1 merkin, and around, etc. until we all did 3. But we started on our chest, and each rep, had to have the chest touch the track.

   Prayer intentions included; Riley battling brain cancer; Mayor’s co-worker Nathan being deployed and his unit; for Mailman’s grandma and his family; and for Splinter’s grandmother’s healing after her stroke, and for his family who are helping her in the process.

   The 6: H2, EH’d by Hammer (at which some guys asked where Hammer has been. H2 says he has been on him to come back out). He gave us his description of what F3 means to him and why he comes out. He said he was up at 3:00 a.m. with the 2.0, thought about sleeping in when the alarm went off, but decided against the fartsack potential and staying cozy in his warm bed, and chose to GET AT IT! RESPECT H2!
