Started with the 5 core principles and disclaimer. In honor of all men turning 40 this year(like myself soon) I had 5 stations of exercises with reps of 40 or multiples of 40. To get the men moving we started with 10 Side Straddle Hops. Then moseyed to the first station where we did 20 Lil Baby Crunches and 20 Spidermans. Next on to Station 2 where a 35 yard bear crawl and 5 burpees awaited us. Station 3 was fun with 27 lbs. cinder blocks where we did 20 squats and 20 curls. Next up was Station 4. An 80 sec wall sit that we timed on an analog clock brought from home cause i dont wear a watch. After this Station 5 was around the bend where we performed 20 ‘mericans and 20 bicycle crunches where 2 was 1.

We went through two rounds of this and then noticed the time where it was suggested by a great leader of the Pax, John “kitty” Pezzino that we go another round with half the reps but go faster. We did just that. Also after we completed the third station we took the cinder blocks to the next two stations and used them for weight on the wall sit and bicycle crunches. Then moseyed back to the flag with them to finish it off.

We had count-o-rama. Our six was Scott “geppetto” Shutt and did an amazing job. Prayed for Friends of Kurt “cousteau” Soltman with losing their baby, Craig “bambi” Springers new lil one, Joel “bluto” Whitcombs baby on the way, also anyone battling cancer.

    respectfully submitted,
    Rick “Houdini” Hostettler
