    Luke "Hannigan" Grable says:

Workout: It’s a Hard Block Life
    Count 7
Pax Nougat, Spotted cow, Claymore, Hannigan (Q), A-Aron, Paddleboat, Bull

    Warm up:
    Toe touches 20 OYO
Old man windmill 10 (1,2,3 One)
    Grass grabbers 10 (1,2,3 One)

For this exercise, we tackled some new exercises and talked about the Foster care system.
To begin: We went into labor, which is sometimes the first time someone may need services.
Birth canal with block. Average labor is 12-24 so we did 18

Now typically there has to be some disruption in the home to cause services. These can include abuse and neglect.

The number one reason for case opening was substance abuse by parents (53 percent), followed by domestic violence (34 percent), mental health (25 percent), and parenting/neglect (21 percent). .

Block deep squat for 53 seconds (Drug abuse)
Block pull through 34- 2 as 1 (Violence)
    Calf raises 21 (Neglect)

If a child ends up being removed from their home, they can end up in a foster home or short term shelter.
Carry block to shelter and form a circle with the blocks to create a makeshift merkin station

With blocks we did deep merkins. 30 count. Up when you count. PAX are in an low plank while waiting to count off.

30 represents the most critical time as the first 30 days are used as a mad dash to arrange children in more permanent places, develop case plans, Drs appointments, and caseworker visits.

    Rotation:
    40 LB’s
    40 Block curls
    40 dips
46 squats with or without block
    51 air presses
    84 toe taps
    PAX repeated rotation roughly 3x

    AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE
    40% were homeless
    40% were receiving public assistance
40% experienced drug or alcohol abuse
46% had not finished high school
    51% were unemployed
    84% became parents
