    Morning Board Games: Catan
    Q: Dr. Banner
Pax: AAron, Nougat, Bull, Paddleboat, Gasman

As stated in the directions, I Used The Settlers of Catan gameboard setup for beginners. Each Pax placed a settlement at a junction adjacent to 3 tiles. The dice were rolled 6 times for the number of individuals present. Each resource was correlated to an exercise.
    Lumber: Lt. Dans
    Brick: Dips
    Ore: Arm Presses
    Grain: Crunchy Frogs
Wool: Run (#’s 1-6 each correspond to a certain distance to run. The higher it is, the longer the distance.)

When a 7 is rolled, the robber is triggered. Instead of the normal game rules that apply to stealing, the workout sheet is flipped over to the DESERT side. Perform these exercises instead for this round. The DESERT side of exercises includes:
    Lumber: Situation Squats
    Brick: Burpees
    Ore: Merkins
    Grain: Superman’s
Wool: Flutter Kicks (2 is 1)
(*The exercises can be flipped back over to other side whenever a 7 is rolled)

-Each time, after exercises are performed, somebody will roll the dice. Whatever number is rolled, the resource hex that corresponds to it is laid out. (So if a 9 is rolled, and there is a settlement next to a grain hex with a 9 and another settlement that is next to a brick hex with a 9, then both a grain card and a brick card will be laid on the exercise pile.)
-The number of settlements present is the number of exercises done (As previously stated if there are 6 settlements on the board, then you are to do 6 of the exercise for grain and 6 of the exercise for brick for each card.)
-As in the normal rules of Catan, a settlement is created when there is 1 lumber, 1 brick, 1 ore, and 1 grain. Furthermore, 4 for 1 trades can happen by trading in 4 cards for 1 of any other resource card.
-In the exercise stack, when there are enough resources to create a settlement, those 4 resources CAN BE taken out of the stack and another settlement may be placed on the board, increasing the rep count of exercises by 1.
-If there are 4 of any resource (each corresponding to an exercise) those 4 MAY BE traded in for 1 of any other exercise card. (As in Catan ruling, it cannot be the same exercise card.)
( For setup, only 12 settlements will be needed. All of the normal hexes and corresponding number tiles will be needed. 2 dice, the robber pawn, and resource cards are also needed. Roads, cities, development cards, 2:1 and 3:1 trading tiles, Largest Army, and Longest Road are not needed.)
-To spice things up, you don’t have to use the beginner setup. Rather lay the tiles in whatever order to make exercises more random. (Although, this could lead to uneven exercise distribution between arms, core, and legs.)
There is no winner or victory points, it’s you against you.
