    The Merkin:

The PAX started out with AMRAP Merkins for 2 minutes and then lined up from most to fewest. This Q was third from the end of the low side of the line…we certainly have some Merkin heroes posting lately with some numbers north of 100. Landslide noticed Stark was in the middle of the pack and promptly called him out for sandbagging. Only Stark knows.

From there we partnered up generally in groups of two with one group of three. Partners were decided be pairing the PAX with the most / fewest Merkins, 2nd most / 2nd fewest, etc.

For the workout there were 5 variations of Merkins identified by the Q; Merkins, Carolina Dry Docks, Incline Merkins, Decline Merkins and Military Merkins. We were at the usual location for the Murph so there were plenty of spots for the Merkin variations. The PAX were also given flights of 100, 200, 300 400 and 500 Merkins to be completed in each round between the two partners. Each group could pick their order, but they had to go in ascending order of quantity, ending with the set of 500. In between each set to rest your arms and back there was a 250 yard run. At 6:10 most groups had completed the flight of 400 Merkins and had started the 500 Merkin set. No partnership completed all Merkins during the prescribed timeline.

Of the 13 PAX that started 5 exceptionally (insert adjective of choice) PAX decided to stick around and finish out the round of 500… Strong erffort by all.

Ended in a COT with Count-o-Rama and Name-o-Rama.

Tupac was the 6: EH’s by Casper at Starbucks, likes to post to workouts and really likes to half post. Tupac loves the camaraderie, the teamwork and support of the PAX.

Bambi Led the Prayer: Prayers wer specifically offered for Riley with Brain cancer, Buttermakers coworkers son Kevin who is terminally ill and in hospice, Cooter and his family.
