    AO: Gauntlet
    Q: Colonel
Pax (13) : Landslide (respect), Gepetto, Venom, Belding, Casper, Coal, Woodstock, Buttermaker (hate), Chew Toy, Leia, Bourbon, Tupac (respect), Colonel

Weather: 51 degrees, damp, nay moist from the drizzle (not fizzle) from the night and morning leading up to the beatdown.
Gear: Repeato of Saturday gear – mostly – Green Frog 1 shirt, compression top, gray shorts, mudgear (commissions) compression socks and 8 year old matching green/neon asics.

    The Thang:
YHC jacked up the normal routine at the Gauntlet that is meant to be Murph Monday for the, wake up, wake up, wake up its the 1st Monday of the Month…. my bad.
Arrived with an eager pax ready to take on the week and all ready to go around 5:27 except for Princess Leia. Leia decided that he wanted to put his Bigfoot 4runner to work, crossing over the flat, grassy median from the school to the parking area the rest of the pax were circled up around the flag, so princess-y.
Beautiful morning at 51 degrees and the rain holding off for the time being. YHC went over core principles and mission and we moseyed over to the hill.
Wanted to get in 11 hill runs with some fun stuff at the top and bottom of the hill but the hill seemed extra sloppy so made an audible to go straight to the Circle of Trust beatdown instead of the fun hill-age beforehand.
    Beatdown went as so:
one pax runs from the parking area near the fields (the only place with any light at all in all that blackness). while they are away I would call out an exercise that would be done in cadence. we went clockwise so the first time I called cadence and then the pax member that ran would come back and would have to lead all 13 of us in cadence – same number of reps, same exercise. Once they were done with that and everyone else did back to back rounds the next exercise was called and they would have to lead that as well until the next runner returned = Fun for all.
    PT was:
Burpees, Squats, Merkins, Imperial Walkers, Plank Jack/Shoulder Taps then back up to Imperial Walkers, Merkins, Squats, Plank Jack/Shoulder Taps, Burpees. We did this routine with an extra set of Merkins and Squats (it was supposed to be murph day so…) and finished with 2 rounds of Hurpees – Hand release Burpees.
Mumblechatter was strong today and the laughter was high. Amazingly this was at the expense of Mr. Beldings love for the awkward and inappropriate – pickle pounders (whilst laying in a puddle nonetheless – belding), belding humpers, hurpees, etc. Woodstock also made sure we got twice the VD with a confirmation of needing to get the clap at the top of the hurpee – thanks, I think.
    Moseyed back to the flag.
With some time to spare since we didn’t do the hill 11’s lined pax up and we did a quick beast.
    Run to 1st lantern – 7 burpees, 2nd lantern – 7 burpees, 3rd – 7 burpees and wait for the 6.
Run back to flag at each lantern – 7 jump squats.

    COR – 13,
NOR – Respect to Landslide and Tupac. Hate to Buttermaker
The 6 – Chew Toy – EH’d by Raven and loving all things F3 – especially accountability and opportunity to run with pax at 3:30 in the morning – yep he said that. Also said he hates cold, dampness and rain – 2 out of 3 aint bad for today.
Prayer Intentions: Tupac heading to Israel with his Church, Houdini’s M, Frog 2 pax participating, Pax getting healthy from colds and healing up from injuries.
YHC took us out with prayers to Sky Q and thanks for all of us to have the ability to get out of bed today and put in some work before we tackle this week. Prayers for all intentions and prayers that we go out and be the man we need to be and say we are for our families and to be witnesses to all that we come across.

Honor to post and Q at the Gauntlet and thanks for letting me jack up the Murph routine! Great stuff and great way to kickoff a Monday.
