The ‘Thanks You Veterans!’ Beat Down took place on a brisk but still morning in the upper 20s. We ran a quarter mile to warm up and then broke off into 3 teams of 2. The beat dawn was broke down into 4 stations.
    Station #1
Jump Rope x 200 per team
    Cut-Back Runs x 5 per man
    Back to Back B-Ball Hand-offs x 40 Rotations (Reverse at 20)
    Station #2
    Bicycles for your 6 (2 is 1) x 100 per team
    Australian Push-Ups x 50 per team
    Dips X 50 per team
    Station #3
    35 yard SUV Push x 2
    40 yard dash x 4
    Squats x 100 per team
    Station #4
    Chin-Ups / Pull-Ups x 50 per team
    Merkins x 50 per team
Partner Big Boy Sit-Ups with a B-Ball Exchange at the Top x 25

Each team made it through all 4 stations and started at least 1 repeato station. The 2 man teams worked well together. The SUV push was a suprise to the PAX but, seems to be a keeper. The Teams were:
    ‘Jennay’ with ‘Venom’
    ‘Montoya with ‘Landslide’
    ‘Huffy’ with ‘Mile High’
Awesome effort and work by the whole Pax. I think everyone was spent by the end of the Beat Down. We ended in the circle of trust. I got to be the 6. I went over how I prayed for a group of good men to pray with and hang with the night before ‘Jennay’ told me about the group. God answered my prayers fast on that one! I also let the Pax know how humbled I was during the Frog 2 and how men like Stark, Bluto, Geppetto, Bambi, and many others
carried the weight, encouraged me throughout and, did not let me quit even though I was ready too. Thanks for the encouragement and I hope to become a better man out of that experience! I don’t remember any announcements, but I was spent trying to keep up with ‘Mile High’ today so please remind me of anything I might have missed. We ended in prayer for Veterans, first responders and ‘Montoya’ and his wife in dealing with family. Thanks to the Pax today for making my Q fun and being open to the new beat down ideas I want to test out, and for helping me clean up all the cones and basketballs at the end!
Note: Give ‘Tots’ credit for the vehicle push. Great idea!!
