The Q:

Riverside Park

boot camp, Perrysburg

Boot camp style workout. On the River. Amazing way to watch the sun come up and start the day with sweat pouring over your rejuvenated soul. Some ramps, lots of steps, a little concrete, a little grass, all the fixens for beautifully scripted beatdown!

You have to park at Hood Park, Downtown Perrysburg, or one of the side streets (i.e. Cherry, Walnut, or Second Street).

One of the hardest and deadliest mountains to climb in the world. One in 4 climbers who attempt to climb this will die, mostly from the descent. K2 is only accessible during July and August each year. This challenge today will be one the more difficult to ascent making the descent the see like a cake walk.

5 PAX showed up ready to ruck at 4:30, all with somewhere around 45# in their PAX and mentally prepared to ruck ramps, hills and steps for 50 minutes. The PAX crossed Front Street and started on the first decent down the ramp at Riverside Park from there the ruck continued to Hood Park and up the hill, at the top it was back down the steps and back to the wall where we tucked up the steps and down the ramp. The ruck continued to weave up or down ramps and steps for several rounds.

At around 5:20 everyone was relieved to be complete….this was short lived as the reality of the K2 workout set in and we were in for another hour of hills and steps. 🙂

Ended in a COT with Count-o-Rama and Name-o-Rama.
