Riverside Park

boot camp, Perrysburg

Boot camp style workout. On the River. Amazing way to watch the sun come up and start the day with sweat pouring over your rejuvenated soul. Some ramps, lots of steps, a little concrete, a little grass, all the fixens for beautifully scripted beatdown!

You have to park at Hood Park, Downtown Perrysburg, or one of the side streets (i.e. Cherry, Walnut, or Second Street).

Perfect weather for The ‘Break Through The Wall’ Beatdown! (45 degrees and rainy) We opened the workout with 15 side straddle hops, and demos of the exercises to come. The main workout was to do the wall laps which is to run up the steps, 25 merkins at the top, shuffle back and forth on all the cross paths on the top side, then down the ramp. Once at the bottom, we did 3 different exercised for each lap.

    Side Jumps X 25
    Bicycles from your 6 (2 is 1) X 50
    Lap 2
Plank Shoulder Taps (2 is 1) X 25 – Nice modify by Stark and Tupac – Plank Shoulder Taps with Plank Jacks
    Side Steps ((2 is 1) X 25
    American Hammers (2 is 1) X 25
    Lap 3
Big Boy Sit Ups X 25
Low Side Straddle Hops X 25 (modify regular side straddle hops by lowering the 6 till knees are 90 degrees)
    Lap 4
    Great work by all!!
At 6:05 Am we broke off in 2 groups of 6 and did the Crab Legs Special with 10 push ups for the losing side.
Crab Legs Special – 1 guy outside of the circle, the men in the circle links arms and a target volunteers. The circle rotates to keep the man on the outside of the circle from tapping the target for 30 seconds.
In true F3 fashion, everyone did the 10 push ups. Awesome support!!
We did 2 rounds then formed the circle of trust.
    Counterama and the 6
We had a count of 12 men for the ‘Break Through The Wall’ Beatdown. Ponzi was the 6 he shared how F3 transformed his life and FIA transformed his wife’s and daughter’s lives. Strong words!! We all were inspired. Great Job Ponzi!!
Out of our 12 men 4 were over the age of 50 (Patriot over 60)!! I have so much respect for these men who are busting tail when most of the men there age are sitting on there tail. Awesome job guys!! Way to show the the rest of us how its done!!
Tupac volunteered to be Site-Q for Hamburger Hill. Way to step up with the leadership!! Let’s support Tupac and keep the Hamburger Hill site growing! Please join me there Monday at 5:45 Pm.
    Prayer / Intentions:
Thankfulness for the great Halloween weather last night, the opportunity for us men to workout together today, and the blessing to be in a in the United States where we can make a difference and vote!! May God give us guidance to do his will!!
