This one is family friendly! Bring out the 2.0’s (the kiddos) the Second Sunday of every month at 2:00 pm. The workouts are for the kids, lead by the dad’s and their shorties. The FiA moms are always welcome too! Fun with water balloons, sledding hills, water melons, pumpkins and more. These workouts are to inspire play and the love of an active outdoor lifestyle with the whole family. Childhood favorites like tag, ultimate Frisbee, and football are often incorporated into these workouts.

F3 Mission: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith; To plant, serve and grow men’s small workout groups, in order to invigorate male community leadership
Principles of F3:
• It must be free of charge
• It must be open to all men
• It must be held outdoor, rain or shine, hot or cold
• It must be peer led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary
• It must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)
The Thang:
A watermelon-themed 2.0 takeover in honor of the last few weeks of summer.
Started with a few exercises in cadence, Hermoine led some side straddle hops, Griffin led us in some windmills, and Flubber Q’ed the Merkins. After that was a round of pass-the-watermelon around the circle. After each PAX member handed off the watermelon, they did a burpee. We added more and more watermelons to the circle as we went so got a little burpee heavy towards the end. Next was a few races while carrying watermelons. 2.0s vs the dads. Dads put on a pretty good show I thought, but the 2.0s definitely took the cake. Next was a game of capture the watermelon (flag) wherein you had to hold tree hugger while you were in jail, folllowed by a few rounds of Jackpot.
