October Monday Murph
Q – Splinter
PAX: 29 – Sipe, Brita, Ollie, Cogsworth, Pixar, El Chapo, Hacksaw, Wake, Mad Dog, Gadget, Hustle, Ozzie, Mickey, Rose, Mailman, Ticket, Worm, Willy, Mayor, Colonel, Jimmy Dean, Honeymoon, Bluto, Brute, Dauber, Mater, Froman, Mr. Belding, Splinter
A crisp and cool morning greeted us in the gloom today. Mother nature reminding us that Fall is upon us and will be making the morning workouts chillier and separating the MEN from the boys.
YHC started off with core principles and we quickly dashed off towards plummer park. With a quick pit stop @ Maplewood Elementary playground to scope out the pull-up possibilities…the PAX split up and most continued on their way to Plummer. We ran through the streets with stealth like precision as to not alert any surrounding residents of our presence. The Maplewood crew quickly joined back up with us they likely were experiencing PAX separation anxiety. We were however, NOT joined by Sylvania PD this morning so we believe we were undetected and the mission was accomplished. Great turnout this morning for a Monday Murph!
COT:
Ollie led us in strong prayer to finish the workout helped get us ready for the week.
Special prayers for the victims and families of those in Las Vegas shooting. Tragically the numbers continue to rise and those affected will continue to need our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Prayers for Bluto’s Dad, Hustles Mom, Britas Dad, Cancer Vitcims, patience in our lives, having respect and empathy for others, and for Hacksaw and his transition.
Thank you for the opportunity to lead men, always an pleasure and a honor.
Moleskin:
-YHC attempted to do the Murph with 10lb pack and was quickly humbled after a meer 6 rounds. Long way to go but a good test none the less!
-Dauber for an extra challenge performed the Murph with his shirt on backwards…beginning to be a Northview habit…last week mismatched shoes, this week shirt on backwards, what will next week hold??
-Welcome back Mailman after his new 2.1!
