    “A Parent’s Life Workout”
    Date: 08/27/2018
    Time: 5:30 AM – 6:15 AM
Location: Buddy Bench @ Arbor Hills Jr. HS
    QIC: Dauber
PAX: 9 total – Gap, Dauber, Jimmy Dean, Stark, Go-Go, Houdini, Poodle, Gadget, Dollywood.

Below is how the morning was supposed to go. However, with a sick kid at the home front, Modell’s Beatdown lesson plan was picked up and rocked by Dauber – who also gets the credit for this Q! Exercises were as follows:

    I Gotta Pee
    – The PAX broke out into 2 groups. One performed 25 side straddle hops (4 count in cadence) while the other group ran 40 yards and back carrying a cinderblock. Switch & repeat. The side straddle hops represent the up and down jumping your kids do when they have to pee. The cinderblock run was representative of the mad dash to the nearest restroom, only to realize it was back where you initially started. This was done 4x in honor of all 4 of YHC’s children.

    My Stomach Hurts
    – The PAX performed a number of core exercises in honor of the most overly used phrase as a response for all things children don’t want to do. 25 LBCs + 30 sec plank hold & 25 flutter kicks. Repeat.

    Pick Me Up, Please.
    – This single phrase has led to more parental bicep strength and mental breakdown than any other. Two man teams. One man performed 10 cinderblock thrusters, while the other performed Merkins until thrusters were complete. Switch & repeat 3x.

Drag You Out of Here, Kicking & Screaming
    – A parents worst nightmare scenario and unfeared threat. Partner carry horizontal length of the football field.

COT: COR, NOR, KNOW-YOUR-6. Announce-o-Rama, BOM.

Thanks for the stepping up to fill in and lead, Daubs!

    – Modell
