After going over the mission of F3 and the 5 core principles, the PAX got to work. This beatdown was a repeat of Stark’s from a month earlier. As we were encouraged at the GrowRuck by Cadre Shredder, we decided to begin another way we could measure progress as a PAX.

We began with the beep test where we ran 20-yard sprints at increasingly shortly intervals of time until we could not continue. It wasn’t clear who would win out as Trinity and Hacksaw just kept pushing. In the end, Hacksaw came through victorious with all of us cheering him on.

Next was 2 minutes of as-many-reps-as-possible (AMRAP) for push-ups. Each push-up had to have our chests hit the ground for them to count.

Then 2 minutes AMRAP of sit-ups. We took turns holding each other’s feet as we crossed our arms over our chests and counted each rep.

After a short break, next was 5 minutes AMRAP of burpees. By this time, YHC was pretty well smoked, but we all pressed on to get better.

Last up for the morning was a farmers’ carry where each PAX brought his own weight to carry around the track for 7 minutes. The goal was distance.

The PAX did well and it is great to have a benchmark to measure progress each month.

Next was COR, NOR and know the 6. Bluto shared why he keeps posting and showing up and how he appreciates the fellowship with the group.

In the COT, prayers were lifted up for Releigh, Brita’s mother-in-law and our troops.

Always an honor to lead this group of men who push me to be better every time I post.

    Aye!
