Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    3/10/2018 Beatdown

    QIC: Romano

PAX: Dauber, Gap, Sipe, Bourbon, Jennay, Modell, Rocko, Hustle, Simple Jack

    The Thang:

We were all amazed to see Gap, and he hung tough throughout!

The PAX did an Indian Run to Bowman Park. At Bowman, we ran Charlie Hustle.

It was essentially a base running clinic for the group! The Q gave basic instructions they could carry over to their kids and little league.

    2 rounds of:

    Bunt Single
    1st to 3rd
    Sac Fly
    Double
    2nd to home
    Inside the park home run
    Walk-off

These were all sprints of 30-120 yards!

The PAX did an Indian Run back to The Oasis.

Prayer intentions were offered: Gap’s recovery and praise for his leadership. Romano’s Family (grandmother passed). Others offered thoughts and praise that The Q cannot recall, but were thought of and prayed for. Brief message on Adversity: Teaches you, Tests You, Trains You.

3/10/18 – If you’ve got the rucks, I’ll carry the flag! Pre-Beatdown Ruck

    Q – Gap

PAX – Dauber, Modell, Sipe, Wake, Jennay, Romano, Hustle, Bourbon, Ticket

Opening – Brief rundown of F3 purpose, principles and agenda.

    The Thang –

No coupon ruck stopping to do (20 ea leg) lunges at the halfway mark. Covered 3.49 miles in 55:51 for an average pace of 15’58” per mile.

COT – Prayers for comfort for those dealing with loss. Prayer to be the men and leaders of our communities, work and families. A personal thanks to the love and support the F3 Toledo PAX has given as I go through this healing process. Not only am I better through knowing each of you, but you make me strive harder to be much more than I could have dreamed of being without knowing each of you! Curiosity brought me here, the comradery keeps me coming back.
