Caddyshack Greatest Hits Volume 1
QIC – Dauber
PAX -6- Scrooge, Gap, Rocco, Modell, FNG – Donnelly
Prologue – Really expected a cast of 1000s to show up but I guess many PAX like to lick Farts (which is fine, if you are into that sort of thing). Any disappointment was easily forgotten as the crew of Caddyshack regulars assembled in the gloom. Even a late scratch by Wolfgang couldn’t temper the excitement.
The Thing – started a few ticks after 6:15 as Scrooge confirmed Mailman had a pulled a fartsack by overdosing on the snooze button. Modell brought an FNG who had a perfect “What the F&%k am I doing here look?” and an easy sarcasm that made it seem he had been rucking at the Caddyshack since the beginning. After stumbling through the 5 core principles each PAX grabbed a few bricks and we were on our way. Power Hour began – we rucked for a minute, exercised for a minute(Squats, curls, shoulder presses, lunges) rinse repeat with some 80s hits as our soundtrack. In between the incessant bitching about cold hands and actually carrying coupons at the CaddyShack I had to explain the idea of Century Club ( a shot of beer every minute).
After a circuitous route (we paused briefly at Wolfgang’s spot) we returned to my car and dropped off the bricks before Rocco lost all feeling in his hands. We wandered around OP discussing theBarry Ruck, MotherRucker (miss that guy), and a bunch of other shit like Modell forcing all his underlings to go to F3 or face a poor performance review.
Upon return we did CoR, NoR, named our FNG – Sam “Donnelly” Melden – he ran for TCC in 18 and is currently Modell’ s Flavor of the Month. In the CoT – I saw 60 Minutes about the millenial who came with a the idea of “capturing” all the plastic in the ocean and just as I was about to complain about the idea my 11 year old explained to me for 15 minutes “his” plan to take care of the plastic. Dawned on me I was becoming Walter Mattheau (albeit a better looking one). We have a choice with youth – complain or help/mentor/inspire. I need to do more of the latter.
