Close Park



Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    Sideshow, Cogsworth, Glitch, Modell, Meatloaf, Dauber, Gap and YHC took part in a run-filled beatdown

    The Thang:
    Warm up lap around Close Park
    Jack Webb ladder relay with partner. 100 yd run as partner does Jack Webbs up to 10 and back down.
    Straight leg sit up/SSH ladder relay with partner. 100 yd run as partner does Straight leg sit up/SSH up to 10 and back down.

    Figure 8 run around Close Park with stops every 100 yards. Each stop was 8 merkins, 8 big boy sit-ups and 8 squats.

    Finish with one revolution of Iron Pax.
    50 squats, 40 big boys, 30 merkins, 20 Bonnie Blairs and 10 burpees. 1/4 mile run.
