Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    The Thang –

    Moseyed to Start High School parking lot

    Group performed 8 squats then lunged to the end of the parking lot row where they performed another 8 squats then jogged to start of next row.
    8 squat jumps then performed squat twists to the end of row and completed 8 more squat jumps then jogged to start of next row.
    8 side straddle hops then performed high knees to end of row and completed 8 more side straddle hops then jogged to next row.
    8 four count windmills then performed buttkickers to the end of row and completed 8 more four count windmills then jogged to next row.
    8 one leg balance lifts then performed skip-jumps to the end of row and completed 8 more one leg balance lifts.
    8 one leg balance lifts then frog hopped to the end of row and completed 8 more one leg balance lifts.
    Group then jogged to the end of parking lot and prepared for next task.
    Group back peddled first row and side shuffled to the start of next row. Jog forward the second row and side shuffled to next. Repeat to the end of parking lot.
    Moseyed back to the Oasis.

    At the oasis Group circled up and performed the following:
    1st member of the PAX got in position at the monkey bars while the remaining group in plank position. As first PAX member did pull up, rest of pax performed merkin. Completed merkins for as many reps as pax member could do pull ups. Repeat with all members of PAX.
    Next round – 1st member of PAX in position at bench while remaining PAX prepared for big boy situps. As first member of PAX dipped, remaining pax sat up. Repeat for as many dips pax member could perform. Repeat with all members of pax.
    30 air presses
    Called on Meatloaf asking his age to which he replied “four”. Acknowledging his response while identifying what an impact he has on this group, we performed 40 (10 times the fun with Meatloaf) stumphuggers. Great finish to a fun workout.

    COT – Prayers for the troops and first responders that allow us the freedoms and support to do what we do. Prayers for Gap’s coworker battling cancer as well as Glitch’s brother in law. Prayers of healing for Avalanche.
