Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

There was about an hour gap in the rain, which was just right to get in a good beatdown.

Started off in a plank for the intro. Welcomed an FNG (Jason Kaczorowski), who I’ve been wrenching on for a year. Today was his birthday, so he kinda had to.

Quick warm up with 20 side straddle hops and 10 merkins.

Then moseyed over to the start parking lot for some MC Skat Cat action… Two steps forward, and three steps back. In actuality, we did high knees for two parking lot partitions, then back-pedaled one back. Then but kicks for two, then back-pedaled one back, then a sprint for two.

We then weaved back though the partitions doing a way-too-long karaoke the whole way.

To get back to Close Park, we did an Indian run back and a full lap around.

The real deal was inside out BLIMPS doing 10 reps of each as a group in the middle, then splitting up after each set to do another ten on the outside. We did that so well, we had to repeado.

To finish up, we did two sets each of as many pull ups as we could do, and as many bench dips as we could do.

Circled up for a count o rama (7), and name o rama. Pantene made a comeback and had the 6.

Our FNG got the name “Smootchie” due to a tale about some shenanigans in South Padre Island.

Prayer intentions for Colt, Gaps co-worker Allison, Avalanche, and my brother-in-law.
