Close Park



Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    The Thang: Post Thanksgiving Grind session. No rest between any exercises. Focused on just grinding through for the 50 minutes. Socrates (Q) expertly used his Apple watch to make sure his heart rate stayed in the 165-175 range the entire time. Often achieved with running in place, or laps around the park in between sets.

    The Pax hit:
    – 176 merkins
    – 263 body squats
    – 45 lunges
    – 29 burpees
    – bear crawled 50 yards total
    – 6 minute abs
    – 225 side straddle hops
    – 20 hip flexers

    Each Pax left wetter and better and leaner and meaner from the Oasis.
