Boot camp style workout.

Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.

    The morning kicked off with the PAX unloading Modell’s Corolla and freeing it from the weight of cinderblocks that would be used in our Beatdown. The Power Wheel Cherry Red, Santa’s Sleigh, Mercedes Benz (Guess Who’s Back) was waiting on the field for the cinderblock reindeer! We followed this with F3 principles, a you vs. you affirmation, and group warm up.
    • 1 lap around the Oasis
    • 10 Wake Up Burpees to get the blood flowing, in cadence.
    • The moment everyone had been waiting for! Santa’s Sleigh bench presses as part of the 3 Piece Combo: each PAX rotated to three stations performing the exercises below. Bunny Hops/Skiers performed continuously when not performing exercise at 1 of 3 stations.
    – (20) Cinderblock Merkins – Merkins performed with hands and feet resting on cinderblocks. Dip as low as you can on the down motion.
    – (15) 6 pack Big Boy Sit Ups – big boy sit ups performed with a cinderblock in hand
    – (20) Santa’s sleigh Mercedes bench press reps – bench press a red Mercedes Benz power wheel with 20 lb. pack of duct taped bricks inside.
    • 1 lap around the Oasis
    • Weezy Jefferson: PAX laying on backs, hands under 6, legs raised to 90 degrees. In cadence, lower legs quickly towards ground, stopping 6 in. above ground w/out touching ground, and move’em back up to 90 degrees. This was done a ridiculous amount of times. Holding legs at 6 inches at time for 3 seconds, 6 seconds, 9 seconds, 15 seconds, and 20 seconds.
    • Colt 45: PAX split up in pairs. While one partner performed Colt 45 cinder block curls – (15) bottom to 90 degrees, (15) 90 degrees to top, (15) full bottom to top curls – the other partner performed Copperhead Squats until their partner was done. Partners witched exercises once complete.
    • 1 lap around the Oasis
    • Back for more Santa’s Sleigh Bench Press and Cinder Block Merkins – Rounds of 40, 30, 20, and 10 for those who were able to complete the Merkins and 15 Sleigh Bench Presses!

    COT: COR, NOR, KNOW-YOUR-6 (Socrates talked about his appreciation of the group, and the openness of the PAX to other men and being better men), Announce-o-Rama, BOM.
