Boot camp style workout at the Shops at Fallen Timbers. Group will meet next to the movie theater. Easy access to the Wabash Cannonball Trail for some running or rucking. Also, plenty of blacktop to make use of, not to mention a little green space across from the theater.
QIC – Stark
PAX – Landslide, Klinger, Lavar, Chew Toy, Woodstock, Lonzo, Mercy, Rooster
First Q at one of our newest AOs (The Battlefield)
Merkin Indian Run for warm-up. Last PAX dropped to do 5 Merkins then sprinted to front. One lap around the boulevard of shops.
Escalating Burpee Mountain –
1 minute each round, goal is 12 reps, not too hard at first, but SUPER hard to get 12 reps in by the latter half. Only 15 second rest between exercise.
1.) Burpee, No chest to ground
2.) Burpee Plank Jax
3.) Squat Thrust Squat Burpee
4.) Chest to Ground Burpee
5.) Mountain Climber Burpee
6.) Side Kick Through Burpee
7.) Frog Hop Burpee
8.) Donkey Kick Burpee
9.) Frog Hop Crawl Bear Burpee
10.) Triple Skyfall Burpee
Department Store Dash
PAX line up along the shops store fronts, run down sidewalk and stop at every door for each store and perform exercise for that round. The catch was that the first pax that hit the store front had to do double to reps. This kept the leaders in a yo-yo pattern so the PAX could stay relatively close together – except for Wood stock on the Merkin round. He can do 10 legit merkins faster then any man I have every seen. Nobody could pass him.
Round One – Peter Parkers (2 is 1)
Round Two – Merkins
Round Three – Plank Up Downs
Round Four – Plank Jacks
COR, NOR, Lonzo was the six. Weather was nice, AO was beautiful. Prayers for the mental health and well being of our PAX

6 men showed up on a blustery morning where 40 degrees did not feel like 40 degrees. The wind was strong enough to knock the shovel flag over once. After securing the flag, we ran to the open area across from the (indoor) gym at Fallen Timbers. On the way to the destination, we did 5 merkins at every other store.
Upon arriving, the group circled up and we did exercises in cadence – SSH, Windmills, Merkins, Lt. Dans, and LBCs.
Upon completion, the PAX ran back to the parking lot where some cones were set up. Emulating a football field, but much less friendly for hands and knees, we did exercises at each cone, and bear crawled in between cones. Cones were placed 10 yards apart, ad each cone was a yard line. We went up to 50, then back down. The yard line was the rep number.
10 – Burpees
20 – Mt Climbers
30 -Merkins
40 – Squats
50 – Big boy sit-ups.
Upon completion, we gathered cones and circled up. COR, NOR, the 6 – Woodstock, prayer for sick kids, and Smoky.
