Like rucking? Not getting enough distance in the one hour Tuesday Rucks? Then come to the Fortress for our Saturday 2 HOUR Ruck. Cover more distance. Carry heavy stuff longer. Lead a group of men through greater challenges.

    Some Rucking

    Date: 04/07/2018
    Time: 5:00 – 6:45 AM
Location: Fortress Ruckus – AKA…Woodlands Park

    Q: Bambi

PAX: 4 total – Bourbon, Tupac, Buttermaker, Bambi.

F3 Mission: Fitness, Fellowship, Faith; to plant, serve and grow men’s small workout groups, in order to reinvigorate male community leadership

    Principles of F3:
    • It must be free of charge
    • It must be open to all men
    • It must be help outdoor, rain or shine, hot or cold
    • It must be peer led in a rotating fashion by men who participate in the workout, with no training or certification necessary
    • It must end with a Circle of Trust (COT)

The ruck stepped off from Fortress Ruckus with 4 PAX accompanied by 3 coupons, including 100 lbs in sand bags, a 30lb spare pack and a shovel flag. With a 5 minute coupon rotation the sand bags weighed heavy on our shoulders after 10 minutes…making the 30lb extra ruck a blessing in disguise. The ruck made it’s way to front street, through down down Perrysburg and to West Boundary. From there we continued to East Indiana and made our way back through downtown and past Fortress Ruckus and continuing along Avenue road to Valleybrook Blvd. The Ruck doubled back along Avenue Road to East Boundary Road and made a full loop around Woodlands Park ending at the Parking lot at 6:45.

Ended in a COT with Count-o-Rama and Name-o-Rama.

Bourbon was the Six….since the other three of us had witnessed Bourbon as the Six several times he opened it up to questions and here is what we found out: Bourbon is close with Coach Calipari and the Wildcat Basketball program. On his Birthday every year, just like all of his players, Bourbon receives a package of Brownies from Coach Caliparis wife.

Bambi Led the Prayer; prayers were offered for the sad clowns sitting at home and the hope that we can reach them as well as those already in F3 and struggling to not be the sad clown as winter drags on, various health issues of those in the PAX and those that we all know, and for Buttermakers grandfather to be more active to combat his feeling / getting old.
