Like rucking? Not getting enough distance in the one hour Tuesday Rucks? Then come to the Fortress for our Saturday 2 HOUR Ruck. Cover more distance. Carry heavy stuff longer. Lead a group of men through greater challenges.

    Where The Ruck Are You?

PAX: Buttermaker, Casper, Mercy, Flo, Bourbon, Jennay, Woodstock, Tots, Tupac, Jimmy Dean

    QIC: Jimmy Dean

After weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks of Bambi and Flo completely destroying the boys of the Burg, Jimmy Dean’s coupon-less ruck was much welcomed.

YHC went over the mission and principles of F3 and then we set out two-by-two for a ruck around Perrysburg. We headed up to Hood Park where we went down the road towards the docks and promptly went back up the steps. We circled around the statue and headed back down the steps.

We didn’t get too far down the path before getting to the Wall. YHC lead us up the stairs, down the ramp, up the stairs again, and down the ramp again before we headed down the trail that ran along the river… at least, I was told it was a trail, though it seemed like folks back yards. There were a few times when I thought for sure I heard a shotgun getting cocked and was waiting for a flood light to switch on and an old man to come out in his briefs yelling at us. But, alas, no such event happened. The closest thing we got to that was cobwebs in our faces.

As the trail came to an end, we headed back up to the streets where we completed a giant rectangle back to the Fortress, where we circled the park twice. After just shy of two hours, we had completed 6 miles of good livin’.

We circled up and ended with COR, NOR & COT. We got to know the six, Jennay, and how he never made the connection between Lt Dan’s and Forrest Gump, hence how he got his nickname. Thanks, Mr. Obvious.

Prayers were lifted up for Bambi, Gap & Zod and any others recovering from physical injuries so that they can fully participate in the GrowRuck next weekend.

Always an honor leading the men of F3, especially in my home away from home.

    Aye!
