    Backblast – March 16, 2019
AO: The Oasis – Close Park, Toledo, OH
    QIC: Geppetto
PAX: Modell, Romano, Gap, Dauber, Socrates, Jimmy Dean, Cousteau, Geppetto, TuPac (Respect)
    Workout: Let’s Go Krogering Ruck

No FNG’s so right into Mission and Principles:
    F3 – Fitness, Fellowship, Faith
Mission – Plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.
The core principles of F3 are that it must:
    • Be free of charge
    • Be open to all men
    • Be held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
    • Be led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary. You versus you. Modify or stop an exercise if you need to. The most important thing is that nobody gets hurt.
    • End with a Circle of Trust

The “Thang”: Ruck to the Miracle Mile Kroger via Tremainsville, Mellwood and Laskey and then back to the Oasis via Jackman then through Bowman Park and the Start High School Parking lot.

Spreadsheets from the Gloom: Temp: Low 30’s, little to no wind. Gap came in extremely hot and the ruck stepped off a few minutes after 5:30. Cousteau joined shortly after by parking in a spot near Blessed Sacrament that was along the first part of our route. YHC was a little unsure of the route and the start but we got on track quickly with the help of the PAX more familiar with the area. Some excellent 2nd F was had throughout the ruck. Great chatter. While rucking through Bowman Park was saw some interesting graffiti on the concrete path that looked like something drawn by a SYL PAX and we all had a good laugh. Modifying the return route to get us back to Oasis in time for the beatdown. Thanks for everyone’s help in the route modification.

We bypassed COR, NOR, The Six and COT since everyone on the ruck would be participating in the workout.

It was an honor to lead.
