What a beautiful spring morning…clear skies and temperatures in the 60s…perfect weather to get rucking better. And that’s what we did.
As PAX pulled in the parking lot at the Oasis, YHC grabbed a 60 lb sandbag and asked Beaker to grab his sandbag.
At 0530, the PAX circled up and YHC went over the 5 core principles. We split up the sandbags and had someone grab the flag and away we went.
The route took us 3.8 miles and about an hour. We traveled on Bellevue across Sylvania to Beaufort, and passed by the first house YHC purchased. We continued down Beaufort to Rushland across Douglas to Deveaux Middle School. We headed into the neighborhood and down to Elmhurst Elementary. Once we hit Elmhurst, we headed back toward Douglas and the Oasis. We got back just in time for the Beatdown. So we deferred the COT for after the Beatdown.
