Pride Rock
PAX: Bluto, Billy Bob, Mr. Belding, Goose, Mose (FNG), El Chapo, Huckleberry, Tupac, Jake the Snake, Mickey, Nails, Tweety, Mercy (Q)
The beatdown started 15 minutes early to end early for the 2nd F Bowling, but we had some work to do first.
The Q isn’t a fan of running, and was in Sylvania this fine, rainy evening to gather more points for the Winter Challenge. Mercy used to be a regular at Pride Rock, but this was his first visit out on a Wednesday Eve in over a year. Apparently, the PAX have created a few preferences for their beatdowns at Pride Rock, one of which is avoiding rain.
The Q had the beatdown format planned, and was going to be a circle of pain for the majority of the time. This was going to be in the rain with no music. The picnic tables in the covered shelter were going to be used. We called an Omaha and moved the tables into the rain, and brought the circle of pain under the shelter and avoided the rain.
The format:
The Q stacked the deck, but the order was random
Evens: Merkins
Odds: Burpee
Jack: Lt. Dan
Queen: Squat
King: Air press
Ace: LBC
Joker: Bench time: decline merkin, step ups, tricep dips
The format was was 1 min of exercise, 40 seconds of rest. Each exercise was in the deck twice. The order was random. The joker was 1 minute of each exercise in bench time with 1 minute of rest at the end. When the Joke was drawn, we did bench time twice in a row since we had to drag the tables in, then out when done with the tables.
After getting through everything twice, we were pressed for time and did 45 seconds of every exercise with little rest in between.
Ended in COT, prayers for Tupac’s mom.
