PAX (15): Jake the Snake; Shooter; Mr. Belding; Goose; Bangor; Bagels; Sipe; Simmons; Ozzie; Gadget; Knoxville; Jeter; Speedo; Bluto; Trojan (Q)
Warmup: 10 Windmills and 20 SSHs, all in cadence
Thang: Pax lined up side by side in the PR parking lot. Q had placed a line of small lanterns, each roughly 15-20yds apart in a straight line. Pax were to hit each lantern in a sequence which looked like this:
1) Run to first lantern and perform 10 reps of PT,,,run back to touch start line
2) First lantern for 10 reps, second lantern for 20 reps…run back to touch line
3) First lantern for 10 reps, 2nd lantern for 20 reps, third lantern for 30 reps…run back to touch start line
4) 1st lantern for 10 reps, 2nd lantern for 20 reps, 3rd lantern for 30 reps, 4th lantern for 40 reps…run back to start line
Each lantern had its own PT. First round was 10 Merkins, 20 Heels to Heaven, 30 Plank Jack-Shoulder Tap (2 is 1), 40 squats
Second round was 10 Diamond Merkins, 20 Big Boy sit-ups, 30 Mtn Climbers (2 is 1), 40 Lunges (2 is 1)
Third round was 10 Mike Tysons, 20 American Hammers, 30 Peter Parkers, 40 calf raises
Between rounds, Pax engaged in active recovery with 20 SSHs (Barry Sanders jersey #) in cadence and 54 LBCs (Chris Spielman’s #) OYO along with some Lions trivia.
CoT: Bagels was our 6 and talked about how F3 has positively impacted him. He shared a story about giving blood the day of a beatdown, which inevitably resulted in him needing some extra support from his brothers to get through. Lesson learned 🙂 He cited the positive influence of being part of F3 as a reason for giving in the first place. Prayer intentions for Gadget’s sister, for Goose’s mother, Jimmy Dean, others who are battling COVID. Always an honor and a privilege to lead!
