Bootcamp style workout. Huge AO! 1/2 mile and .9 mile track. 2 Large pieces of playgroup equipment for pullups and hanging exercises. Over half a dozen soccer and lacrosse fields. The possibilities are endless for your Monday beatdowns!

The First Monday of each month will be a Murph workout in honor of Lt. (SEAL) Michael Murphy.

    Cool Runnings – 8 Pax
    Cool was an understatement for the weather this morning at what felt like 0 degrees with the windchill. After opening statements, mission statement and core principles, we warmed up with some cadence windmills and jumping jacks. After this, it was a race to the hill for a unique beatdown.

    At the top of the hill, teams were divided into two based on order in which pax arrived to the top.

    Red Team – Woodstock, Bourbon, Landslide, Jennay
    Blue Team – Stark, Huckleberry, Coal, Tupac

    The relay race begins – Pax were instructed that one member would traverse up the hill, do an exercise, then sled down the hill to pass the baton (sled) to another member at the bottom. Pax at the bottom where to run across the field, do an exercise, run back to the start, do an exercise and repeato. This whole process continued until all members had traversed the hill and ended in a plank at the bottom to signal the finish.

    Rounds of Exercise
    – 5 Burpees
    – 10 Big Boy Situps
    – 15 Merkins
    – 15 Bonnie Blaires (each leg)

    The score was 2 – 2 at the end so neither team had to partner carry the other across the terrain back to the flag for end of workout.
    Jennay screwed up the normal order of things by ending with COR, Hearing from the 6, NOR, Announcements and finally the COT.
