What the ruck is a ruck?  A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

    The thang

18 men gathered in the Gloom today at Fort Meigs..  We reviewed the mission statement of F3 and the five core principles we broke into two groups: a group of 14 for a ruck and a group of four for a run.

The Ruck was a fast-paced ruck coupons in the back and brought to the front Indian style.

At various points along the way we stopped and did some PT whick included merkins, overhead presses of our ruck packs, squats, tricept dips American hammers anf more merkins.

The two groups met up and ended in a COT.. not sure of didtance covered by either group, guessing about 2.5 to 3 miles for Ruck and a half marathon for the crazy runners.. just kidding, but suppose 4 miles for those nuts.

Ended in a COT.  Special recog;nition to all the hard work and pushing through.. Welcome X FNG Dutch who posted 2x in a row. Only 98 more days to centery club or less if you double post.

Great seeing Boo boo as a regular and.newest member of th P’burg crew Leiah. Nice to have Hombre join from Georgia and will see him again tomorrow.
