Perrysburg, ruck

What the ruck is a ruck?  A hike with a weighted backpack (approx 30 lbs) while stopping along the brisk walk to do some invigorating exercise. Excellent 1st F (fitness) and 2nd F (fellowship). If an FNG (Friendly New Guy) is a bit timid to post for a workout the ruck is a great intro to the pax.

BB for Tuesday’s Ruck at The Necropolis (Fort Meigs)

17 PAX total with 2 FNGs.

Started with the F3 Mission and the five pillars of F3.

We rucked approximately 3 miles while carrying Betty, two shovel flags, and two 40+ lb. 5 gallon water jugs.

We worked the legs a bit while attacking the hill on 3 different occasions.

Throw in some flutter kicks, a few tri-extensions with back packs, and a decent amount of 8 point burpees, and we called it a morning.

Not before ending with a COT.

A huge welcome to our FNGs @Logan “Shawshank” Scheurer and @Dave “Flo” Walbom.

To round out the PAX in attendance were @Jonathan “Bourbon” Burns, @Ben “Cobra” Batey, Matt “Hanson” Hammitt, @Zach Peepers Holt, @Dan “Casper” Kubacki, @Berry “Moana” Taylor, Jr., @Justin “Zod” Maronn, @John “Leno” Wellstein, @Eric Kartman, @Andy “Slimer” Grant, @Matt “Virus” Haschak, @Craig “Bambi” Springer, @Chris “Mudvayne” Pudvan, @Matt “Stark” Yarder, and Addison “Boulder” Hollands.
