YHC had yet to make an appearance at the Dawg House so there were some nerves for this Q. Model had warned me to be prepared to possibly deviate if the football field was locked. Hog offered to clown car to the field and with no backup plan, I made sure we arrived early to see what I had gotten myself into. Luckily the gate to the field was unlocked. The field is in phenomenal shape and even after a night of rain it was barely wet. This was a good sign! With time to spare, YHC and Hog traded spring break stories until more pax arrived.

At 5:30 we kicked off with the 5 core principles and YHC was promptly made fun off for my messenger bag. So much for showing up prepared…

We moseyed onto the football field and circled up for a brief warmup. YHC lead cadence in SSHs and Windmills. Not too shabby if I do say so. We then took a lap around the field to get loose and briefly review the plan for the workout:
With a partner, Pax would travel the length of the football field and back with 1 rep the equivalent to 1 yard. For example, the first exercise was Big Boy Situps and 100 reps would be required to get down to the end of the field. An additional hundred reps would be required to travel back.

Round 1 – Big Boi (yes, we played Outkast the entire time) Situps – 200 total
Round 2 – Merkins (200 total, one partner ran while other did the exercise)
    Round 3 – Leg Throws (200 Total)
Round 4 – Squats (200 total, partner runs in between)

We finished up with 40 yard sprints x 4.

Hedgehog was our 6 and spoke of the friendships he’s developed because of F3. And I believe he called the workout soft…
CoT – YHC asked that we remember the positive energy at the end of the workout and apply that to the rest of the day and those things we may not be looking forward to doing.

Moleskin – Scott High school is awesome. The field was fantastic and there’s no shortage of areas to put to use for a beatdown.

    Always an honor.
